Winter Wonderland

I have a love/hate relationship with winter. Where I live, some days it gets really, really, really cold and some days it is surprisingly warm. I don't like winter because of the blizzards and the snow storms. Also every time I walk on the sidewalk, I would slip to the ground.  However, the only things that I love about winter is the falling snow and how the sun shines through the snow. It is such a beautiful sight when the sun is rising in the morning with light snow that is falling from the sky while walking to school or around downtown.

 Each snowflake has its own characteristics and it is very amusing to me how beautifully they stick together.

This photo was taken around the University campus in my city. I found this area randomly and I was attracted to the black board background. The natural lighting, I find, enhances this image. With her simple clothing and simple background, it creates a very rustic feeling.

Intro

Let me introduce myself. My name is Paulina and I am in my last year of high school. I always wanted to create a photography blog for my photos. I was always interested in photography ever since I was young because I remember my father always takes pictures of my family and I. He was interested in photography and maybe that's how I got my photography genes from. To me, photography is a way to show people what I see and what I find interesting through my eyes. It is an art form for me but also an activity that I love to do for fun. Through this blog, it allows me to document my photos and learn how to improve my photography skills and such.
